What reassurance can the Council give that all 3000 subscribers to Ealing Careline (now closed) have an equivalent emergency Telecare service in place.

When will a responder service be set up and running for Ealing residents because at present there is no responder service using Harrow Careline or any other Careline provider

Decision - URGENT ICMD - Approval of one year lease for temporary accommodation (moderngov.co.uk)

The reason for urgency was that by reason of the current housing crisis, the council is spending huge sums of money accommodating homeless families and individuals in emergency accommodation.  This report proposal represents an opportunity to provide 72 units of dedicated hotel accommodation at a fixed rate.  The council needs to move quickly to secure this rare opportunity. 

The reason for lateness was that this opportunity has only become available very recently; officers are bringing it forward for decision as soon as possible after becoming aware of it.
